Derek and Meredith wanted a celebration with traditional aspects, while making it fun and lively. “We wanted our wedding to be a fun and unforgettable weekend for everyone, not just us,” Meredith says. To celebrate their future marriage and their families reuniting from places all over the country, the couple made sure their wedding had great food and drinks, lively music, and nonstop dancing. The flowers, color scheme and decor were inspired by Meredith’s love of neutrals and metallics. The theme was simple, yet dramatic, she says.
