This velvety green corner lot makes the cut in HGTV’s national contest featuring amazing homes.
Colville Road is one of the prettiest streets in Charlotte, with multimillion-dollar homes and expansive, manicured lawns on both sides of the street. Every house has megawatt curb appeal, but this white home with a turret is going for the win this summer.
As described on HGTV’s website, “The front yard is a wonderful space with its rolling green lawn and gardens. Landscaping was planned to look lovely year round.” Adding to the front yard’s curb appeal, “a petite patio makes sure it is enjoyed. Comfortable armchairs get sassy red striped cushions and a coffee table will hold the evening’s cocktails.”
The Dickens Mitchener listing was selected by HGTV editors as one of 11 Curb Appeal finalists as part of its annual HGTV Ultimate House Hunt. Categories include: Amazing Kitchens, Beachfront Homes, Countryside Retreats, Curb Appeal, Downtown Dwellings, Homes With a History, Outdoor Escapes and Waterside Homes.
The five bedroom, seven bathroom home is listed for $3,950.000. At more than 7,700 square feet, the home is filled with custom features and high-end design choices, according to listing agents Vicky Mitchener & Ducie Stark. “The open floor plan creates a sense of flow and connectivity between the varied living spaces, while large windows flood the home with natural light,” said Mitchener.
It’s one of 95 homes selected as a finalist. People can vote for their favorite listing on HGTV.com through August 3. Last year, more than 1.5 million votes were cast.
