Popular food truck What the Fries opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in south Charlotte. Customers can choose from among local meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables to create customizable charcuterie boards and boxes. Also available: house-made truffle crostini, cookies and meringues for made-to-order dessert boards. Babe & Butcher will offer same-day delivery of its signature charcuterie boards, along with wine, beer and champagne. House of Nomad moved its flagship store from Brunswick Avenue to a new larger location at 1405 East Blvd. Led by designers Kelley Lentini and Berkeley Minkhorst, HON sells pillows, throws, baskets and other home accessories sourced from Mexico, Bali, Africa and Thailand. shophouseofnomad.com 

Twenty Two West opened a new studio and store in west Charlotte. Local artist Mary Hamby started Twenty Two West in 2015, crafting jewelry and home décor items with porcelain clay and fibers. Shop hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. 2613 Tuckaseegee Road, twentytwowest.comSP
