Wells Fargo Championship: What to expect at Quail Hollow

When the Wells Fargo Championship comes to town May 6-12, south Charlotte will be a hub of entertainment, especially around Quail Hollow Club. Let SouthPark be your guide to all the food and drink, entertainment and fan experiences coming to the Queen City.

TICKETS
There are several ticketing options to enjoy the tournament. Learn more about purchasing tickets, here.
- Weekly Grounds Tickets: Access all 7 days of the tournament.
- Practice Pack Tickets: Access Mon.-Wed. A more relaxed atmosphere and the only days that cameras are allowed.
- Daily Tickets: Access a specific day during competition, Thurs. – Sun.
- Good Any Day Ticket: These tickets allow flexibility to decide at the last minute. Good for any one day, Thurs. – Sun.
- Military Tickets: Verified members of the military will receive two tickets to any day of the tournament at no cost. Up to four additional tickets can be purchased at a reduced price.
Premium ticket experiences are also available, as well as shared hospitality options.
THE FOOD
Charlotteans love to eat local and the Wells Fargo Championship showcases some of what the Queen City offers year-round. Concession stands will be located at 8 Tee, 9 Green, Event Hill, QC Village, and Fan Village. All stands will be cashless. Various credit card and mobile payment options will be accepted.
- JJ’s Red Hots and Tito’s Stillhouse Lounge and Dock will be featured at QC Village.
- Franciscan Estate Wine Bar on 17 Tee
- YAFO Kitchen will be located at the Driving Range
- Event Hill will feature Cabo Fish Taco, RC Eatery (Resident Culture), and the Dobel Margarita Deck

THE MUSIC
There are two Wells Fargo Championship Tee-Off Concerts scheduled to take place at Symphony Park, presented by SouthPark Community Partners.
- On Thursday, May 9, Yacht Rock Schooner will headline the show with an opener from The Breakfast Club.
- On Saturday, May 11, September in the Park will headline.
Proceeds benefit Champions for Education, Inc. General admission tickets start at $20 and VIP tickets start at $99. Single day tickets or two-day ticket packages are available. Buy tickets here.
COURSE MAP AND GROUNDS
- Autographs will only be permitted in designated areas.
- Atrium Health Family Care Suite will be an air-conditioned comfort station for parents to nurse, feed or change their little ones in a private space at 9 Green.
- Atrium Health Grandstands located at #1 and #10 tee will have canopies for spectators to take a break in the shade. Sunscreen will also be offered at each first aid station
- The Kids Zone will have activities and giveaways each day of the tournament.
GETTING THERE
Here are some of the best transportation options when venturing out to the Wells Fargo Championship:
- Light Rail
- Tournament shuttles will only be available from the Sharon Road West Light Rail Station.
- There will be no tournament parking at the Sharon Road West Station.
- To access tournament shuttles, all patrons must present a valid LYNX ticket purchased on the day of service from one of the LYNX stations other than Sharon Road West. No exceptions.
- Patrons should exit trains and follow signs to the shuttle loading area. Shuttle drop-off and pick-up will be at the main tournament entrance.
- Parking
- Tickets for General Parking at designated lots are on sale.
- SouthPark Mall B Deck (Parking deck at the intersection of Sharon Rd. and Fairview Rd.): Complimentary, Mon. – Tues.; $25, Wed. – Sun.
- Carowinds Park and Shuttle (14523 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273): Open Wed. – Fri. only; $15 – advanced purchase, $20 – drive up (cash only)
- Ballantyne Corporate Park (13838 Ballantyne Corporate Pl.): Open Sat. – Sun. only; $15 – advanced purchase, $20 – drive up (cash only)
- Rideshare
- Rideshare drivers can deliver and pick-up clients on Gleneagles Rd. Patrons can enter the tournament through the main entrance.
