Fundraising season ramps back up in February with nonprofit and community-driven events leaning into a love theme. Here are a few ways to show your heart for groups that help others in the Queen City.

DSLB Galentine’s Fête

Expect an evening filled with style, substance and sisterhood as you connect with other women — creatives, community leaders, executives, friends and mentors. There’s a hosted cocktail hour, a fireside chat on women’s empowerment and a DJ. Galentine’s is presented in partnership with the Sensabaugh Family Foundation and a portion of proceeds will support local women-led and women-serving organizations. Tickets to DSLB Galentine’s Fête

Ballantyne Ball: Love is in the air

Feb. 14 l The Ballantyne

This masquerade ball on Valentine’s Day has a lot to love — a little romance, a little intrigue and a good cause. This year’s beneficiary is Baby Bundles, which provides much-needed baby care essentials and clothing to families in need. The Ballantyne Ball is Ballantyne’s signature fundraiser which gives back to community by showcasing a different mission partner each year.

Greater Charlotte Heart Ball

Feb. 14 l NASCAR Hall of Fame, Crown Ballroom

You’ll be seeing red in the best way. One of Charlotte’s longest-running galas, the Greater Charlotte Heart Ball celebrates volunteers, donors and lives saved through the American Heart Association’s mission to advance research and care around heart disease. Expect dinner, dancing and get ready to bid!

Feb. 23 l Steak 48

Join Greg Olsen and friends for a memorable evening that includes a delicious dinner, handcrafted cocktails, raffles and a silent auction — plus a few special celebrity guests. Families Forward Charlotte: Hearts for Hope

Feb. 28 l The Ruth

Friends and supporters of Families Forward Charlotte always have a big time raising money for the nonprofit, which helps and mentors local parents so they can maintain steady jobs and housing. The night includes dinner and drinks, live entertainment and high-energy live and silent auctions. You’ll come away inspired by the stories and impact of this grassroots nonprofit. Tickets to Hearts for Hope.
