Charlotte is showing up for the PGA Championship. As round two gets underway, here’s a look at our favorite scenes from Quail Hollow Club.

The skies have finally cleared after the start of a rainy week at Quail Hollow Club, which led to conditions that challenged some of the world’s best golfers. In all Championship Week has 156 golfers competing, 29 of which are major winners and 14 are past PGA Championship winners.
Rory McIlroy, who has found success at Quail Hollow club previously, struggled in the first round Thursday with a 3-over 74, while defending champ Xander Schauffele ended the opening around at 73. Top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler managed a 2-under 69, which keeps him in contention. Sports reporter Ashley Stroehlein recaps the first day here.

Over the next few days, more than 200,000 fans are expected to make their way through Quail Hollow Club. While the tournament is officially sold out, resale tickets are available online.
