Tour a new wine-growing region each month

Restaurant-goers have another new option to try on the Charlotte food-and-drink scene: Every other Wednesday at the bar at Bardo, enjoy pairings highlighting various wine-growing regions along with Chef Mike Noll’s 5-, 7- or 12-course tasting menu. Beginning March 16 and 30, each month will feature a different region.

SouthPark recently got a preview of the new pairings. Here are a few highlights (pictured from left):

  • Baby octopus with peach, sesame and shiso + Cave Spring Cellars Riesling Ice Wine Lincoln Lakeshore (2017)
  • Duck with vaudouvan (curry), citrus and celery root + Chateau Pilet Bordeaux (2018)
  • Tempura prawn with heart of palm, kimchi, yuzu and cilantro microgreens with a kimchi broth + Chateau des Graves white Bordeaux (2018)

Bardo also has a new a la carte tasting menu, along with its ever-changing lineup of stellar craft cocktails.
