Kyle and Taralynn’s first date was spent walking around Freedom Park, talking for hours. Three years later, Kyle got down on one knee at the same location. “It was the best day of my life,” Taralynn says. Their plans to elope at Lake Como in northern Italy were spoiled by the pandemic. But after a visit to The Greystone Inn at Lake Toxaway, in the western North Carolina mountains, the couple was in awe.. “There was no doubt in my mind that this was it!” Taralynn says. After a small waterfront ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a farm-to-table dinner overlooking the water, champagne, special dances and cake — which Taralynn says is the best she ever had.
