Weddings: Abroad to the altar

Bright, airy, romantic, classic: These are a few of the vision words behind Joey and Lauren’s dream wedding and reception. They met while studying abroad through the University of Oxford-Clemson program. Small details of their time in England were woven into their wedding day, including a thoughtfully decorated welcome table featuring a bottle from Magdalen College and reception tables named after their favorite destinations in Oxford. Lauren says the highlight of planning their big day was tasting cakes from Suarez Bakery. “I love that we were able to pick our two favorite flavors (chocolate raspberry and strawberry chiffon) and alternate layers,” she says. “Absolutely amazing cake.”
