Join the GoJenGo Foundation for its fifth-annual Run Jen Run 5k. The race kicks off in Symphony Park and proceeds go to the foundation, which provides assistance for families with loved ones battling cancer. www.gojengo.org.

Head to the Mint Museum Randolph to peruse the The Wyeths Exhibit, which boasts more than 50 drawings and paintings from three generations and five artists of the famed and talented Wyeth family. www.mintmuseum.org.

Spend an evening sipping wine and mingling in the historic Duke Mansion for the NC Fine Wines Showcase. Guests will sample 12 of North Carolina’s finest wines paired with hors d’oeuvres. General admission is $100. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. www.ncfinewines.com/events.
