Sycamore Brewing is rolling out cider, and head brewer Brad Bergman doesn’t disappoint. Wild Blossom, Sycamore’s cider line, launched in August. Two wine-like styles, Rosé and Brut, hit Harris Teeter shelves almost immediately, with grocery stores across Charlotte not falling too far behind. The Rosé suggests hints of peach with floral notes, while the Brut tastes like a bubbly, but with fewer carbs, calories, and grams of sugar than champagne.

“After completing our production facility expansion—a 54,000 square foot brewery and winery—and bringing on head brewer Brad Bergman, who has a wealth of experience brewing beer and crafting cider, it was a natural progression,” says Sycamore Brewing co-owner Sarah Taylor Brigham, whose go-to beverage is the Brut. “We have the talent on-board to produce the highest quality liquid possible.”
