Get to know Charlotte-Mecklenburg School’s new superintendent, Dr. Clayton Wilcox at the upcoming SouthPark ‘A Morning with CMS Leaders” breakfast from 8-9 a.m. Sept. 14 at George’s Brassierie.

Wilcox will he discusses his plans for CMS, the upcoming $922 million school bond and the controversial student reassignment plan. He’ll be joined by CMS School Board Chairwoman Mary McCray and District 5 Rep. Eric Davis. The Charlotte Observer’s longtime education reporter Ann Doss Helms will moderate.

Event is presented by the Charlotte Observer and Ivestor Jackson.
